Seattle is a vibrant and active city with so much to experience. The following is a list of some activities and restaurants that I enjoyed during my stay. ACTIVITIES
Chihuly Garden and Glass – A beautiful display of glass artist, Daly Chihuly’s work.
Ferry to Bainbridge Island – Take a ferry over to the quaint island of Bainbridge for the day.
Kenmore Air Seaplane – See Seattle from a different perspective and enjoy the scenery.
Space Needle – Enjoy the 360 degree view from atop Seattle’s most famous landmark.
Pike Place Market – Stroll the market and savor all the fresh products available.
Underground Tour – Visit Seattle’s hidden city below street level and relive a little local history.
The Seattle Great Wheel – Bring out your inner child and take a ride on the Great Wheel.
RESTAURANTS
Serious Pie – Hip, casual atmosphere serving great gourmet pizza’s and more with an extensive beer menu. 2 locations in Seattle.
Matt’s in the Market – Located in the middle of the Pike Place Market with a view of the famous PPM sign and clock, they offer an eclectic menu from burgers to gourmet dishes.
Etta’s – Located at the end of the market, this active restaurant serves great comfort food.
SkyCity – Dine at the top of the Space Needle with a 360 degree view of the Emerald city. You’ll have to dig a little deeper into your wallet for this option but it’s a really nice experience. Reservations are advised.
